Meet the Founder
Jayda Irene is a versatile artist specializing in dance and production, particularly in urban dance. She promotes diversity, inclusion, and equity within the arts community. She aims to inspire Black children and adults to pursue their dreams of becoming professional artists through her work. Jayda's dedication and talent have been recognized through her selection as a Seeding Creativity Artist, a program backed by the City of Sacramento and the NEA designed to support artistic careers and now the California Arts Council. The RAE Agency in San Francisco represents her and has achieved commercial publication. Jayda holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with minors in Sociology and Dance from Sacramento State. Furthermore, she is the Founder and Creative Director of Healing Heels, a nonprofit organization focused on education, entrepreneurship, and the performing arts, and ReadThaRoom, a traveling concert series. Currently, she serves as Miss Black Sacramento Queen for 2024-2025.
